So I was talking to Noah the other day about the whole missing child episode. And how God warned us about his sleepover.
I asked him what he thought about all that. Was it weird?
“No,” he said. “I know that God trusts you because he’s kinda ranked you up (video gaming term) from a Youth Pastor to a Lead Pastor.” Or something to that effect.
And then I had the privilege of telling him what I have to say to you:
“There are no ranks in God’s kingdom. Everyone is on the same level. I’m no better, no more favorite, than anyone else. You can listen to God — and hear him — just like I can. God doesn’t talk to the most spiritual people. It’s about being aware, keeping our eyes and ears open.”
And that’s all there is to it.
