Over the next ten days, I’m going to blog about my ten favorite things in ascending order.
FAVORITE THING #1: CINNAMON BUNS
I know I’m a pastor and that I’m supposed to be virtuous and everything, but seriously, I can be bought. Plant a steaming plate of freshly baked cinnamon buns slathered with icing in front of me, and I will follow you to the ends of the earth. Cinnamon itself is a gift from heaven, but mix it into a puffy, moist, gently browned roll, introduce it to my other friends brown sugar and butter and get really, really generous with all those ingredients, bake those bad boys to perfection, and watch me fall to pieces.
I’m tellin’ ya, those babies are gonna be in heaven, or I’m ordering take out.
