Today I downloaded Carlos Whittaker’s album, Ragamuffin Soul. It’s the best album I’ve listened to in a very long time. Fresh sound, raw spirituality, heart on the sleeve, soulful, artful, passionate, catchy, cool. It’s all there. A worship album that doesn’t sound like a Tomlin ripoff, for a change. Nice. Don’t get me wrong, I like Chris Tomlin. But there’s more to life than Chris.
