I got an email this morning from WordPress. Their stats helper monkeys apparently mulled over how this blog did in 2010, and here’s a high level summary of its overall blog health:
The Blog-Health-o-Meter™ reads Wow.
The average container ship can carry about 4,500 containers. This blog was viewed about 15,000 times in 2010. If each view were a shipping container, your blog would have filled about 3 fully loaded ships.
In 2010, there were 152 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 598 posts. There were 171 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 51mb. That’s about 3 pictures per week.
The busiest day of the year was April 19th with 448 views. The most popular post that day was Guest post: Lessons from a busy mother, by Sarah Markley.
Where did they come from?
The top referring sites in 2010 were facebook.com, bradhuebert.blogspot.com, sarahmarkley.com, digg.com, and twitter.com.
Some visitors came searching, mostly for brad huebert, hermes the greek god, brad huebert blog, pictures of hermes the greek god, and hermes greek god.

I want to thank each and every visitor for making this blog a success. And a BIG thanks to those who commented throughout the year. You contributed valuable insights to the community of readers growing around the coffee table of my musings.
That is fascinating. I would be afraid to see what my blog did, it says I have almost 90 readers but I don’t think every one of them read it. I do read Sarah Markley’s blog she is both challenging and cute. Not that that has to be a criteria but she is blossoming into a wonderful writer. Also my favorite is Ann Voskamp of A Holy Experience. She is incredibly gifted and seems to be a ‘messenger’ for us to be challenged by. I enjoy your blog. It is real, it is also challenging and sometimes it is funny. It is another one of my favorites. Don’t even remember how it was found perhaps off of another blog.
Anyway take care and have a wonderful NEW YEAR.
Thanks Sharon. I enjoy your comments and your encouraging spirit. Be blessed and know that you are held with strong arms, the arms of your Father in heaven.
Thanks for that ‘encouraging comment’. I try to be encouraging… why not? everyone wants a pat on the back and a ‘you did a great job’…right?
You are doing good too. God is blessing you as you teach others. Keep listening and pressing on… a new year is coming.
